My Reviews
We did not care for the book at the beginning...one chapter, one story and the next chapter another completely different story. Confusing until the characters in each story came closer to meeting each other. Then it became interesting, so we were happy that we chose to read it this month. Lots of topics to discuss.
Our members all enjoyed the book and had a very good discussion.
Our book club had a very lively discussion. We all loved the book and recommend it to other book clubs.
Found it hard to put the book down. Have the tissues handy. Very informative, Should be mandatory reading.
Our group enjoyed reading the book. We learned a lot of information that we had not heard of before.
This book was not up to the James Patterson standards we expect.
It was confusing to determine which year the story was taking place.
No one liked the way it ended.
We all liked this book, as sad as the story is. Only one person in our club had ever heard of these murders on the Osage reservation. We had never heard the story of how the FBI was started either.
We found it to be slow and hard to get into.
Pretty unrealistic but cute. Ther discussion of small-town life, in general, was very interesting
We found it to be a light-hearted, fast, easy read It was fun with a lot of laughs. It was also insightful regarding the results of not taking any time for yourself and also mending a mother-daughter relationship.
We all enjoyed this book. Found it to be a fun fast read. As a bonus, our club was happily able to relate to the age of the Hens.
