My Reviews
A quality fictional treatment of a well-meaning but harsh experiment to solve the abundance of orphans in New York.
Unusual and intriguing perspective of the holocaust, kept my interest, well written, a great example of non-fiction book.
Well written, a fictional story woven into true history shares what it might have been like for a young woman who's "convicted" with leprosy.
Although a bit contrived, The Bastard gave us insight into the wrenching decision made by the colonists to revolt against the crown. It made the history of the pre-Revolutionary War era come alive through personal glimpses into the various characters who worked to challenge the unfair treatment by King George and the British government and military.
Compelling perspective on how children were sometimes treated in a system that pretended to do good.
