I really enjoyed the first half of this book as the story went back and forth between the characters but once Sarah dropped out of the story it became less interesting. When the lady ( I forget her name) meets up with Sarah's son at the end it just became unbelievable. Many woman in our group felt the same way.

This was a beautiful story on the human spirit. It's amazing how people keep going after some of the horror they endure.

I can not understand the hype surrounding this book. It is so poorly written, I couldn't finish it. I'm not a prude but nothing in this book was erotic just ridiculous.
