Fast-paced and suspenseful, Child 44 is a book that is hard to put down. It is not great literature, but it is a good read.

Every book lover should read this book as it is simultaneously funny, sad, horrifying, mystifying, magical. Beautifully written, it is on my Shelf of Honor. Each time I read it, I am stunned by Garcia Marquez' amazing skills.
