I loved the book. The story was interesting, the characters had potential for more development, and the subject matter was informative and exposed me to new pieces of history that I had been previously unaware of.

This novel was another reminder of the horrors of slavery, but with a twist where the underground railroad is actually a railroad! It was a great discussion for our book club.
