We used this book for a moms book club and everyone who read it loved it! Those who didn't read it were scared by its topic, but it was truly a wonderful story. The language is beautiful and the author was in the Cambodian Genocide, which brings a whole new element to her story telling. We all admitted to crying more than once. Great read and discussion!
