My Reviews
I absolutely loved this good. It flowed very well and the humor was outstanding. I would recommend to all readers.
This was a really great book. There were a lot of themes worth discussing including the overprotectiveness of a child and how our secrets may hurt others. Not to mention, it was an easy read and all the characters each were worth talking about.
I will admit this novel had it's moments. When things got really tough for the characters, I became intrigued, however, the book seemed to drag for pages. I felt like the author wanted to fill the pages and so she kept using the same narration and descriptions over and over.
I absolutely enjoyed this book. Of course it's a chic lit, but it was extremely hilarious. All of the characters were so believable, so funny, the author does have a great sense of humor! The ladies would really enjoy this book.
This is a chic lit novel, for those of you who do not like chic lit books, do not read this novel. I enjoyed it somewhat. It had it's funny moments, but it was just very unrealistic to me. All of the characters were rich women who took advantage of their divorce to take as much money from their ex as possible. They bury themselves is desginer clothes and perfume, and seem to look down upon women who were unable to get money from their ex-husbands.
This novel is written in forms of letters from a character to her sister who was killed. I felt like this novel dragged. They compared it to The Lovely Bones, but don't be fooled, it's nothing like it.
I pretty much enjoyed this book. I love that the narrator is an eight-year old girl, who happens to miss her father, who was killed in front of her younger sister. This was definitely a page turner with a very shocking ending.
I absolutely loved this book. I loved the way it was written and overall fell in love with the main character Taylor. We first meet her at age twelve and watch her grow into a complicated adult. I loved that this book doesn't jump from moment to moment, the author creates structure as we watch every step and decision Taylor makes.
I absolutely fell in love with this book. I, personally wouldn't consider your average chic lit despite all, it has humor, it has sadness, it has great characters, you would absolutely enjoy it.
It was a pretty small book so it was very easy to read. The writing was okay, but the plot itself was pretty interesting.
Pretty decent book, nothing much to fan about. I felt like it was pretty easy read. I liked how the novel provides insight of each characters.
I absolutely loved this book. It was clever, brilliant, and amazingly written. I have recommended this book to practically everyone I have known. Do not miss out!
I consider myself an avid reader mostly reading between two to three books a month. I’ve heard nothing but praises about the Fifty Shades trilogy. Every time I turn on the radio they are describing how sexy and wonderful this novel is. Every Hollywood page I turn to talks about who will be casted on the next big box office hit (Fifty Shades). I decided, what the heck, let me see what the hype is all about.
There’s nothing I can’t say that hasn’t been said already. This book is poorly written, there’s absolutely no character development. Everything happens in the process of a few weeks, which is so unrealistic. Other than that, I absolutely hate Christian Grey and Anna Steele. First of all, he’s a controlling bastard who mostly treats her like crap and makes her feel like she needs to walk on eggshells. Secondly, she’s childish and immature. Honestly, I think she’s only with him for his fortune because no one in their right minds would be with someone who tells them what to wear, what to say, who to be talk to, or be friends with.
I’m sorry for ranting but I honestly despise this book. I would not recommend it to anyone unless you’re a eighteen year old girl curious about sex.
When I read the first novel of the Breathing Series, I didn’t know what to expect. It was the first novel I bought on my kindle and I was hooked from the very first chapter. A few months later, I learned Barely Breathing, the second novel, was scheduled to be released and I immediately jumped in joy. The author is great at everything from character development, to perfect storyline. I sympathize with the Emma, the protagonist. She’s been through hell and back and still had the support of very amazing characters (Sara, Anna, Carl, and of course, Evan). Yes, there will be a third book but do not let a trilogy stop you from experience one of the best novels out there. I say, it’s a must read!
This was one of the first books I bought on my kindle. I bought it based on the synopsis provided by Amazon and forgot to even check out the reviews. I honestly read this novel in two days. I could not put it down. The story, the characters, everything was just absolutely amazing. Three of my girlfriends are hooked on the Breathing Series and you should be to. Thumbs up-- This is a must read.
One of my favorite stories I\\\'ve read so far. It\\\'s well-written and I fell in love with the characters. It\\\'s certainly not your typical love story. It\\\'s a lot darker filled with seceret. I usually recommend this to all my friends whenever they are looking for something to read.
