My Reviews
I had very little knowledge of RBG or what she has accomplished in her career. This book was a fun look into her life. Everyone learned a bit about RBG, and was glad we were able to gain that information.
The Long Walk is a hidden gem in the large catalog of Stephen King. Written as Richard Bachman, King explores deeper and darker aspects of humanity, and a bleak future for our country. This book doesn't pretend to be anything its not. It's raw, visceral and heart wrenching.
The Library at Mount Char is a very unique book in the sense of pacing, and outcome. For the first 3/4 of the book, you aren't really sure what's going on, and where it is leading, but the pay off is epic and grand. The book touches on a lot of touchy subjects, religion, etc. but doesn't make light of any of these areas either. The characters are deep and dark, but you get a great sense of who they really are. The plot may be confusing sometimes, but everything seems to makes sense at the end. I really enjoyed this title, and would recommend it to any adult reader.
