My Reviews
Well written! Molly, a young outcast, Gothic American Indian girl. Vivian an older Irish woman, an outcast of the times and a story held in her heart.
You'll think "Could this really happened in America?"
I think it should be part of High School reading!
At first I thought, What?. Then it became a page turner.
Loved this book because I could relate to it. Well written. You are cheering for the wife. I like any movie or book that creates a strong/soft woman.
To many characters in the book to keep track of. One of our memebers counted 61 .
Grabs you in the first chapter. Makes you think about things you may not want to think about. So, could be challenging.
The reason I gave it a 4 is the ending. At first reading it is a little slow, then in the middle you think you know the ending; some, thought the ending was not realistic or unconvincing. I enjoyed it. The ending made the book for me.
The way it is written you can not put it down. Graphic in areas but has romantic intervals. Could be difficult for some due to subject matter and characters
