This is fine if you don't mind writing formulaic novels using her blueprints, but if your novel doesn't have the elements she has outlined, you might feel like you traveled in the wrong direction. There are many ways to write a novel and this is not the only way to write romance. However, I would still read it so you know of one method. She does make a few good points in the book as well. This is not a book club selection but rather a writing craft book. Unless you have a romance group interested in writing, this book is not for your group.
