Although longer than our usual book club reads, this book kept me interested to the end. P. Gregory did a very good job combining a fictional story with historical facts. Not only was it an entertaining story, but I learned a lot about the period and the royal lineage. We also watched the Tutors on Showtime which is about Henry VIII and Anne. Interesting parallel to the book.
