Uncle Tom's Cabin

It was very different to read this book as an adult after having read it years ago as a student. The tale has haunting parallels today. Reading this made me mindful that we have to remember mistakes of the past to keep from repeating them.

The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry

This was a fun book, especially for those who are bibliophiles. Some situations seemed a bit implausible, but I think the reader just needs to step back and enjoy this interesting tale.
