My Reviews
There were over 60 characters in this book. I thought it was written on about a seventh grade level.
Interesting. Idells was kind and humble in her perspective of Rawlings. It was interesting to read about a place In which I was familiar .
I was disappointed with the ending.
I did find this book informative and insightful. However, it took me a while to get through it.
I enjoyed this book. David was acting out of grief and totally changed the life of more than one person.
I was impressed with Ove"s neighbor. She seemed to know what was in his heart. He's someone I wish I knew.
Tension mounted and toward the became a page turner.
It read like a soap opera. I even had my characters in place.
This book was very interesting. As usual I worried about the characters.
This was a wonderful book. It was very hard to put down.
Greg Iles is one of my favorite authors. I would have given this book 5 stars, but I thought he got bogged down during the interview between Stone, Kaiser, and Cage. I got bored which I usually don't do.
I thought the book was interesting. It gives a look into life the of the rich and famous. I thought that Gloria was pretty candid about her private life. She told things about herself that were very personal. I was surprised that Anderson has made his own way. Very interesting.
This book was confusing in the beginning, but it kept me wondering what is going on. Therefore, It kept me reading. It was not predictable. The characters weren’t developed enough to understand where the story was going.
'Wild Horses," was a different type of mystery that I normally read. But, after a slow start I found it quite interesting. I like the characters, Thomas and Moncrieff being my favorite. That Francis inserted humor, also made it a good read. I liked the insight into film making. I think that any setting could fit with the way and the reasons for the murder. It didn't add much to the mystery.
This book was so interesting. It is so typical of the way women were treated in all cultures. Men have always wanted a son, but girls were considered worthless in most cultures. Women were expected to run the house and men were the providers, but women were always the strongest. II worried about the characters right from the beginning of the book.
I really liked the characters in this book. Although, I was disappointed in the ending. The children were left to their own devices, while the parents were caught up in themselves.
This book was very interesting. I have known people like this. I don’t think that you can blame society for your problems. I think it is learned helplessness, but you can rise above it if you want to.

This was a fun read. It was slow beginning, but got better toward the end. Had to keep reading.
This is one of the best books I have ever read. Backman is so insightful and persuasive.
This is a good book to read to upper elementary children. It teaches adversity and courage. I liked it.
This book was hard to follow in the beginning. i had to make a tree to connect and untangle the characters. The story was disjointed.
The book grabbed my interest right from the beginning, then too much time was spent on the house, the story picked up and was hard to put down.
I found the writing to be fairly simplistic. The characters reminded me of Partricia Cornwell's, Kay Scarpetta and her group. She, also, cooks and investigates murders. I enjoyed the book and stayed hungry the whole way through.
Great book, could read it over and over.
