I felt the characters lacked any depth and subtly in their personality description. It was if the author had written a caricature of upper class men, middle class housewives and country dwelling folk based purely on stereotypes, rather than developed the characters in any kind of soshisticsted way .
The premise of the book was ok but the writing very weak.
I found this book to be utterly boring and totally pointless . It was at best, midly amusing at times but generally it was just the dull ramblings of a vacuous, dizzy 20 year old.
I didn't even bother to finish it and looking at other book reviews I notice many other people similarly abandoned the book halfway through and decided they'd rather use their time most wisely!
