The book is beautifully written. Our book club, The Tea House Ten, enjoyed a lively discussion as the writer provides many people, places, history, and his feelings along the journey.

Although it is non-fiction, there are sub-plots to be explored.

Personally I loved the book. A real plus was that all of the members of our book club enjoyed it.
