If we could describe this beautifully written book in one word, it would be lyrical. A memorable story centering around survival instincts and how they influence our choices and future. Our book club gave this a 4.6 overall rating and agreed it was one of the best books of 2018!

As old fashioned and lovely as the pearl beads adorning the wedding gown of Queen Elizabeth, The Gown takes us into post-war London. Great love, loss and a cruel deception pepper the lives of the ladies who created The Gown. Makes me want to book a trip to London with a first stop at Buckingham Palace to see the historic Gown.
