The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair That Changed America by Erik Larson
Informative, Interesting, Dark
Historical Non-Fiction about the Chicago's World FairNot a great fan of the book, but saw why others liked it. Thought it moved painstakingly slow and then wrapped up very quickly.
How Starbucks Saved My Life: A Son of Privilege Learns to Live Like Everyone Else by Michael Gates Gill
Inspiring, Optimistic, Fun
The story of a man that hit rock bottom and his climb back up.Pretty good story. The group felt that it was nice to have an "easy" ready this last time. All pretty much wished that the author had gone into greater detail with some stories rather than others.
