My Reviews
After finishing this book, you want to start over again to fit the pieces into the puzzle frame you now have. Interesting combination of issues of twins, domestic violence, incest, mental illness.
Great book for discussion. Many different aspects to a chrono-impaired love story.
Very interesting book. I loved it. I think about different things about it every day. Very intriguing.
Mixed reviews from our group. Slow starting, interesting story, contrived occurances.
I expected a tear jerker but this wasn't it. Some interesting perspectives on God. Could be a great discussion book if everyone reads it.
Worst book I've read in years. We had trouble with the writing - we're used to more contemporary writers. The story and plot weren't very gripping. And none of us were emotionally drawn into the story.
This book seems confusing in the beginning because there are many characters to keep straight. Stick with it though, by page 100 you'll know who they all are. Interesting and honest look at women's relationships. Would have been good for discussion if more of our book club would have read it.
This is my new favorite book. Loved the writing, great ending, great journey to the end.
Good book. Interesting characters and different look at WWII.
We enjoyed the book. Have a few suggestions for the next edition. A map is needed. Does anyone have a map of Jerusalem in their heads?? Nice walk through early Cristianity. Also infomative look at the issues and conflicts of the area.
No one in our book club finished the book. Many barely started it. For that reason alone, I don't think it is a good choice.
Very enlightening story about WWII southern U.S. and treatment of veterans. We all loved it.
