My Reviews
General consensus was the last 30 pages was the best part and the author should have used that as the basis of the book. The events and descriptions leading up to the climax were inconsequential and boring and overly dramatic.
The consensus was that it was a great book but also depressing and hard to stomach. Slow at times. Audio book was slow. But it made us think outside of ourselves and isn’t that what it’s all about?
We thought it was average. Expected it to be funnier. Hard to listen to on tape also.
We all agreed it was a good read but “meh”. It moved a little slow in middle and was a bit unrealistic with the kidnapping and crime solving. However the story arch with the autistic brother was great.
