My Reviews
This carefully and extensively researched novel tells the story of poor Tillie Morris who was murdered outside Centenary College in Hackettstown, NJ. For many years a local legend, Tille is brought to life and the true circumstances of her death is brought to light in this well-written novel. I'm so glad that the author chose to research and tell the story of Tillie who deserves that justice is served at least in light of the information surrounding her death. The parallel story of the cemetery keeper's wife who explores Tillie's death also brings a convincing aspect to the research portion of the story. I've also read another work by this author (The Richest Season) and I look forward to her future books.
