A lovely book that raises up a common life to the level of enormous importance it deserves.

Just because these kids have cancer somehow makes them wise or interesting?? Phooey! They are boring, self-centered, and whiny. Throughout this book you just want them to have a single moment of insight to redeem themselves. Alas, it never comes. Maybe if they read more than one book during there free time rather than obsessing on a single work of fiction they could achieve a bit of illusive adolescent wisdom. How do I get a refund on the time I wasted reading this book?
