I couldn’t put it down. It was thoroughly researched and I previously knew little about the subject, women in the French Resistance. It was so vividly described, it was easy to imagine the streets I’ve enjoyed in Paris under very different circumstances. Sadly, the similarities between what happened then and what is happening now are also quite vivid.
