As a BOOKCLUB we thought the book was good but too long
As a BOOKCLUB we thought it was a “page turner” and highly recommend this book!
As a BOOKCLUB we would recommend this book for science minded folks!
As a BOOKCLUB we would recommend this book!
We think it is a must read!
We enjoyed the book and having Amy join us for discussion of her book and mental illness. She is making a difference in this Ohio Valley area for folks and their families with mental illness. She is in the local schools discussing mental illness with students and staff. We are blessed to have her in our area. We would definitely recommend her book!
We liked the book and spending the day at the Frick Museum in Pittsburgh made the book come alive. Even though it was a different house, the back stairway to the library, the clothing and stagecoach of that era brought the book to life.
We would recommend this book. Well written and unfortunately based on facts of a time that black people were severely mistreated.
We would recommend this book, however, the middle is a little slow. Overall, we liked the history and some details of history we were not aware.
We didn’t figure out the killer! We discussed at length the 2 main characters as we are all daughter in laws and a few of us are mother in laws......page turner
Slow to read in the middle but definitely worth finishing!
The perspective of strong family differences in American and Italian cultures
It is written like a documentary
