The Tuscan hil

Two stories in one. 1944--A British bomber pilot is shot down in Italy, hides in an abandoned monestary and is found by a young woman who helps him. 1973--British pilot dies and his dtr returns home to bury him an finds a letter that gives clues to an unknown past. Dtr travels to Italy to see if she can earn more about her father's past. A little murder mystery and a love story takes place while uncovering the father's past. The did't see to have a lot to o with the Tuscan Child which was a little disappointing. The book was OK but nothing real exciting. A notable quote: "Family comes first, doe it not?"
