My Reviews
The author weaves into the story clues to interest the reader. He appears to be quite versed in mental illness symptoms. Reading The Great Gatsby gives one clues also.
I do recommend this book to any book club. It is a historic picture of the trials and triumps during the formation and conducting of the Chicage World's Fair.
This book held my interest from start to finish. I would recommend it to any reader in that it would hold their interest until the end. Mystery and drama drive the theme throughout.
Very well done with narator being a kind DEATH figure. Shows the German people during WWII struggling to keep some kind of normalcy. Shows cracks of softness in individuals during an intolerable situation. Book discussion reveals interesting ideas.
