My Reviews
I think that this book was very creative. I think that the writer was able to have the reader visualize what all the characters were going through; struggles, happiness, and sadness.
This was an interesting but boring book. I found it interesting because it came from a view that does not represent a typical American marriage. It was hard to understand why it was called American Marriage. I want to see/read how it all related.
I might be he one person in the Hnited States that did not follow these events. I knew it was going on, but as the book states it is easy to turn the page or off the news if we do not like what we are seeing. I think I was that type of person. However, I absolutely loved reading on the strength, determination, and endless live that was shown throughout this book.
Not one of my favorites. I think the book could have been told differently to bring the reader in better. I found it very difficult to read.
When I moved to the Midwest as a teen, I was introduced to the LDS culture. I was impressed that the culture did not dictate the writing of this book, but gave details to support and inform the reader. I also, found it amazing how the author was able to write and describe the strength that it takes to take on your family. Very inspiring!!
This series is addictive! I was hooked when I read the first book, now I am waiting for the third one. I can’t wait!!!
This was an interesting read. However, it is boring and the story is stretched on and on. I know that the historic details are informative, but I skipped some of the repetitive information.
I absolutely LOVED the book! I was hooked the moment I started. I enjoy Nora’s books and this one did not let me down.
What a neat and interesting read. I found the twists and turns in the book were in perfect places. I was able to guess the ending, but it did not stop me from reading the end. I highly recommend this as a book club read.
It was interesting to read one of his books at my current age. It was nice to read it in a different mind frame and perspective. It was fun to discuss this short story and book club.
I enjoyed the follow up of the Handmaids tale. It was interesting to read the story from others perspectives. Especially ones that I had thought of differently. It redeemed their characters for me.
I could not get the motivation to read this book , due to the length.
This book was interesting, especially as the world is in a Pandemic and lab testing HAS become a topic of concern on occasion after reading this it made me think about the current lab testing. It brings to light that people can be fraudulent for many things and this one goes above and beyond.
This book makes you believe that live can conquer all. It was amazing to read a live story built into a true pirate story.
