Very Light Reading BookThis could make for a good beach read. We found the questions for discussion were more deep and maybe even better than the book itself.
A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier by Ishmael Beah
Dramatic, Informative, Insightful
Highly recommendIt was interesting. My word of warning is it is beyond depressing as the story is about a horrid account of this boy seeing and participating in an atrocity. However, I am very glad it was chosen as our selection.
