My Reviews

Insightful, Dramatic, Brilliant
Themes of book are quite varied and worthy of bookclub discussions.

Although not the best written book I've ever read, I found the overarching combination of family dysfunction and the main character's sudden-onset condition (I don't want to spoil it for you!) to be an immensely interesting read. The characters in the book were colorful and interesting in their interactions. The circumstances recounted felt realistic. I would say my biggest disappointment was that it suddenly was over. As though the author had decided "oh, I've run out of witty things to say, let's end it." But it was a good book and I have already recommended it to friends.
