My Reviews
Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty
Unconvincing, Fun, Interesting
I enjoyed this book, but it’s not my favorite of Moriarty’s. It was twisty, but not in the suspenseful, page-turning style of some of her others.
The Accursed by Joyce Carol Oates
Slow, Beautiful
A plodding place but gorgeous gothic elements. Perhaps not the best choice for my first Oates novel.
The Woman in the Window: A Novel by A. J Finn
Addictive, Dramatic, Interesting
I read this so quickly! Suspense + an unreliable narrator is usually a great read to me.
The Power by Naomi Alderman
Graphic, Interesting, Dramatic
I loved this book. Really great premise and well-thought out to the end.
Informative, Interesting, Inspiring
Blackass: A Novel by A. Igoni Barrett
Interesting, Adventurous
Great premise and a likable protagonist, but I didn’t like the ending.
