Luncheon of the Boating Party by Susan Vreeland

Fun, Insightful, Graphic

was a great book very visual reading

I could see, smell and almost taste the food served every Sunday - feel the texture of the fabrics on the clothes of the ladies - feel the movement of the boats during the races - all these elements make for an exciting read.

I finished reading this book, but even with a great discussion at our book club - I am still not a fan.

Dramatic, Dark, Poorly Written

a story of survival

The writer has painted pictures of the journey and the people she meets along the way. Enjoy the charactors and how Ms. Bloom rapped up each of the stories along Lillian journey.
