My Reviews
Though it took me a couple chapters to get into it, this book was a quick and easy read. Set in two different centuries, I started reading thinking I wouldn't be able to relate to the characters and their settings. Well, I didn't relate entirely to a era pre-women's liberation and all the domestic problems, but I was transported and engrossed.
Some plot points and characters felt a bit cliche and like lazy-storytelling, but overall an enjoyable read. Good for relationship discussions about love and family.
A great counter to the current day news and media on the middle east and defeating terrorism.
Great to read a true story a man who really made a big impact on the world, starting as just one person.
I laughed, I cried, I enjoyed every minute.
Really enjoyed living vicariously through the Walles crazy adventures.
