My Reviews

March: A Novel by Geraldine Brooks

Interesting, Informative, Slow
A revealing look into the Civil War as seen through the eyes of Alcott's Mr. March.

A wonderful portrayal of characters and how each was affected by the war and the choices they made.

Interesting, Dramatic, Insightful
A good summer read.

I enjoyed the book and especially liked the ending. However, the author seemed to ramble at times, particularly when she went off on studies about the memory and hypnosis.
