Radium Girls made me so angry! While it is not the most well written book, it did tell the vivid story of ordinary people being harmed and disregarded by those who hold power over them. In the end, the women triumphed, but it was a small victory compared with the anguish endured by themselves and their loved ones.

Definitely an incredibly interesting story. Hedy was a very strong woman trying to do the right thing for her family and eventually fellow Jews.

The writing was good, but not great. A bit repetitive. Overall I’m glad I read the story. Just not raving about it.
