What a gift Judy Mundle has given us in writing this incredible woman's memoir. I couldn't put the book down and literally read it cover to cover in one sitting. Beautifully written, Judy eloquently describes "Janet's" life story in just the right amount of detail to completely immerse the reader into a time not so long ago. I was shocked to learn about the unfathomable admonitions committed against our West Coast Japanese Americans during WWII, but even more than that, I learned a lesson about grace, dignity and true love. Truly inspiring!!
