I think it's important for Western women to know about the lives, the good and bad, of other cultures, and especially this particular country and our involvement. Wonderful read.
All L.R.Wright's books are good reads. She developes her characters very well, and the stories are true to life, including the outcomes.
This book would be an excellent read for book clubs,and for all ages of women. It was delightful reading because there were so many secrets, and while some were serious and life changing, others were entertaining and funny. All of us liked the book.
Every person needs to read this book and then take action.
You need to get adults around you involved as well as youth. We need a global consciousness. "One world - one people, please. I loved this book so much I bought 25 copies for friends & relatives.
Our follow up discussion and comments were very interesting; in fact, it was one of the best talks we've had. The book certainly gave us that! I personally found the story to be too unrealistic
