Tender at the Bone: Growing Up at the Table by Ruth Reichl
Interesting, Fun, Adventurous
Ruth Reichl's early years as she struggles with her manic mother and how she has affected her life.Tender at the Bone was a wonderful book. It had everything: humor, madness, struggle, happiness, reconciliation. There was a never ending amount of things to talk about with this book.
All This Heavenly Glory by Elizabeth Crane
Charlotte Anne Byers tells of her life with disfunctional mother and how that effects her decisions throughout her life.
Everyone in our book club disliked this book immensely! It provoked a lot of discussion, however. We spent a long time trying to figure out what who would enjoy reading this book; after all, there are many people who have.
