My Reviews
One man's failure to achieve his climb to the top of k2 becomes his greatest lifelong success in acheiving peace
one school at a time.
Inspirational reading. It bridges the gap of opposing cultures. Though we are all different and from differnt countries of the world, we are basically the same. We love, laugh and have the same fears that keep us from moving beyond ourselves. We allow our differences to stifle our understanding and acceptance that we can be different but still appreciate ones nations uniqueness.
"Love covers a multitude of sins." Love from a heart that is pure with the sheer joy to help because you have been helped allows Greg to move beyond himself and make a difference.
"My Heaven" a pharse that would intice anyone to want to read the book. Heavy topic but it allows for greater insight into stuggles of familes who have lost loved ones that have been murdered. Quick reading, keeps you on edge of your seat.
Slow reading in some parts but picked up momentum to make it
interesting and reflective of real life.
Who would imagine a book filled packed with so much history narratively arranged to excite ones curiosity. Twenty one people dead and one hundread and fifty injured after a flood of molasses breaks through its poorly constructed metal tank. Great read, intriguing just don't great hung up on the historical data presented all at once. Have fun!
