Salem Falls by Jodi Picoult
Dramatic, Interesting, Difficult
Not her best; good for conversationIt felt forced. It was entertaining, but it felt like a personal challenge of hers to see how many people in a 20 character book could have some sort of encounter with sexual abuse. I do think she portrayed the parents reactions to their children's statements realistically. The story was rife with good conversation topics, but left a few loose ends.
