The Devil and the Dark Water by Turton Stuart
Dramatic, Slow, Adventurous
I read this right after his previous book, The 7&1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle, which I was enthralled by. Much slower pace and build-up. Linear story for the most part. Interesting premise, unique location, but not as absorbing as the Hardcastle story. Ending was a little too neat for my taste considering the tone of the whole book.
