My Reviews
This is a very well written and researched book. If you love dogs, you will really enjoy this book. However, even if you are not a dog enthusiast, this book is still worth reading because it contains information about Hollywood and the development of the entertainment industry in the U.S. during the last century. This book is about America and dogs in almost equal parts.
The author set chapters in one of two time periods; present day U.S. & 1950's Italy, but he tells you the time period & location in the chapter heading, which was very helpful. There were a lot of characters, so most of them were not very developed, but enough for the plotline & the author wraps it up neatly at the end describing what became of each character.
If you want to read something unsusual, this is the book for you, even the writing format is unique. There was so much depth to this book that I plan to read it again.
