I was a great book. A little slow reading at first but then it picks up. Wonderful hirstorical book. It made me want to look things up about the fair and the main characters. It even encouraged me to take are architectual boat tour of Chicago.
It is a gruesome in spots. It is hard to believe that one human being could be sho evil.
I thought that it was a insightful book for a women to read. I especially like the insight into what women feel their roles should be in life. I am at the time in my life where I am comfortable with decisions I have made in my life.
It is a reflection book on the reader and his or her past. It makes the reader reflect on how things were during their life time during this period of history.
