a look into the life of women in the past who had no choice about marriage

I listened to this audiobook and found it very interesting. It reminds us how lucky we are in this time to be allowed to marry for love rather than position.

 
very wordy classic that was hard to get into

some people really liked this book while others couldn't make it through the first few chapters. Many said once they got through the first few that they ended up being glad that they read it. i don't believe anyone loved this book and several did not finish it at all.

 
Unconvincing, Difficult, Confusing
A woman dies at a young age and then lives as a ghost caught in between worlds.

I really enjoyed this book and so did everyone in our book club. It was very interesting and promoted a lot of good discussion.

 
Insightful, Inspiring, Life Changing
Religious tale about a man meeting God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

I'm not for "in your face" religion, so for me it was too much, too quickly and it lost me. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
