My Reviews
The main character was written as though she was living with a TBI, which (spoiler alert), it turned out that she was. It was a little hard to like her in the beginning but you came to see her perspective by the end.
A really interesting take on death, dying, coping and second chances. TW - talk of suicide and death.
It was really hard to connect to the characters because they kept getting killed off. It was a little bit of a struggle for me
To get through.
Terrible book that further exploited a family that has already had multiple lifetimes of exploitation and abuse.
A great read, great romance.
One of my favorite books ever. The character of Marcellus was brilliant, gripping and made you fall in love. I loved having an older woman as a central character. Such an incredible read!
A little hard to make sense of initially but the world building was good and Bryce made for an interesting main character
A bit of a depressing, woe-is-me vibe that made it hard to connect with the main character. An interesting look into American Indian culture, however.
TW- DV and SA. A gripping read that delves deep into the complexity of domestic violence.
TW- DV and SA. A great look into life after leaving your abuser and how complex and winding the road is to freedom.
I mean, I tore through these bad boys within a week. What’s not to love??
Really difficult read. Lots of sad, dark concepts and dysfunctional family dynamics.
Great read, the protagonist is an incredibly likable character who highlights the struggles women have faced in the scientific world.
Yikes, a rough, dark read. Dealing with the very real concepts of kidnapping, slavery, racism and genocide…this book is sad from beginning to end with very few happy moments to break up the darkness.
An easy, likable read.
Great sci-fi book about the power of connection.
Gah this one was painful. You wait for something to happen the entire book and are left disappointed by literally nothing happening
A little slow and boring
Amazing reads
