I think this book is especially relevant to book clubs, and I found that even though our club has a wide range of interests everyone in our club was able to appreciate the book in their own way. In fact a few of our members would have never selected this book for themselves, but upon finishing it they were glad to have experienced this book. Which is exactly what you do with The Friday Night Knitting Club, you don't read it, you experience it in a way that makes you look at your own friendships and relationship differently. I would definitely recommend this book.
