My Reviews
If you are looking for a deeply political or historical review of Iran this might be the book for you. Otherwise it is very deep, graphic and although entertaining and easy to read with the comic book design, it is not your typical book club book.
I bought this book when it first came out and then I heard people talking about it as scary and violent. I was taken back and decided not to read it. I started a 2+ hour commute recently and just grabbed the first book I found. I was interested since the movies were in limited release and the third book was released so I picked it up...NOW I can't put it down. I hate it when the bus arrives at the terminal. I want to read more. Who did it? How? What will happen next? The graphic scenes distract from the story and are necessary for us to feel the emotion or to relate with the characters, we can do that with the descriptions.
Well written. Not what I expected at all.
A great read that sucks you into the story.
