This was an interesting take on Sleeping Beauty. The author was able to weave together several fairy tales, time travel and the bets of good and evil into one adventurous story. The book leaves a great deal open for discussion and led to some animated conversations surrounding several of the books central themes (religion, environmentalism, etc).
