I feel this book fell short on the story and never captured my complete interest. I continued to read the book waiting for the story to begin in earnest. Did not meet the qualities of the other Elm Creek series novels.
The book seemed to move very slowly and then it was over. This book did not have any depth or stength for the reader to build upon.
