My Reviews
Everyone can get something out of this book!
Very enlightening. It was very interesting to read from the child's viewpoint.
This book is an easy read for teens and adults alike.
This was a very good book. I only wished that the characters were developed a little more. It left me wanting to know more about each of the ladies.
This book is a real tear jerker. There are lots of topics included that make for a good discussion.
Meyer doesn't disappoint.
I wasn't sure about this book when it was picked for discussion. But I ending up really liking the story and it was a quick, easy read.
I was disappointed in this book. It was not his best book.
I thought that Joshilyn Jackson could have done more with the characters. The back of the book does not describe what the book is actually about.
Kim Edwards does a great job of allowing you to experience the characters' pain and feelings in this book. Overall, a good book even if it is a little depressing.
I liked this book, but it definetly leaves you hanging at the end. I will be purchasing the sequel when it comes out in June.
I would not recommend this book for clubs who do not wish to discuss graphic content. This book was a good read, but very graphic. I like the way that the author did not just gloss over the dirty truths that go along with addictions the way that some authors do. This book gives you insight into the long hard road that is rehabilitation and makes you ask the question is complete rehabilitation ever really possible.
While I personally did not care for any of the characters, it is a great author that makes the reader either love or hate the characters. This book kept me hooked the entire way through with mystery, a love story, deceptions, and even murder.
This book was very good. It explained the Trinity better than any other novel I have ever read.
This book was a little slow. I had a hard time finishing the book.
Even though the ending is fairly predictable, I enjoyed the book. I'm glad that Rainie finally got to stand up for herself.
This is a very graphic, erotic book, not for the kiddies. It is relatively short, but tells the story of a scorned woman and her despair. The author does a good job entwining different food aspects into the story to relate to the woman and what she is going through.
Wow, what can I say? I have never really been a fan of the whole sci-fi thing. However, this book was selected for our book club. I am so glad I read it. It is a relatively short book, with a big message. It really made me stop and think about the way I live my life and my routines. To me, any book that can do this is a great book. I recommend this book to everyone.
It took me a while to get used to the writing style, but I really did like this book. It's definitely a page turner and made me see all of the little things that I take for granted everyday.
