My Reviews

Loved the history, suspense and moral dilemmas.

Jefferson Bass once again delivers a real page turner involving the mysterious radioactivity induced death of a renowned scientist who played an important role in the Manhattan project. The book focuses on the interesting history of the "atomic city" of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The twists and turns of the plot never failed to keep me reading late into the night. I especially enjoyed the reminiscences of the elderly former wife of the murder victim, Beatrice, and her involvement in the building of the atomic bomb. I loved this book and would recommend it to anyone interested in a good suspense.
