very good book-hard to put down-there are unanswered questions but I think that was part of the whole idea-good book well written

krakatoa, the day the world exploded

it is a very well written and informative book. It is difficult to read-it is like a text book-I had to struggle through all the detail and many times reread it to understand it-would only appeal to a small number of people

I found it to be depressing, gruesome, with no redeeming value-however it did generate a lot of discussion and it was interesting to hear others thoughts on this book

throughly enjoyed this book-well written-a unique perspective on a very sensitive subject (someone's perception of religion)
